The resort is built of striking limestone and somehow manages to always be soaked in sunshine. Maybe it was just my lucky day, but the other guests were all quiet and kept to themselves, making the pool area and sunbeds a great place to enjoy some downtime in peace. The entire property maintains a vibe of tranquility and it was easy to forget my worries while I enjoyed this temporary home.

The rooms themselves are sort of mini-houses, or condos. Referred to as “maisonettes,” they all feature beautiful Gozitan rustic architecture and decor and come with well-equipped kitchens, a spacious living room, bathrooms, a terrace, and comfortable bedrooms. The resort is above a car park, making it easy to get around Gozo from Villagg Tal Fanal. While the resort isn’t exactly central, the island is so small that you can easily access every point from here. Plus, this resort home on Gozo is only a five to ten minute bus ride from Victoria, the capital city of Gozo.

So if you are looking to be waited on every second of your stay, this isn’t the place for you.
