DAY 1

DAY 1 -

ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI

Arrive at Nairobi airport where the guide will have a big paper with your name on it on the arrival terminal. Drive to the hotel, Check in, relax and your guide will help you to orientate yourself on places to visit within Nairobi. You will be staying at the Tamarind Tree Hotel on bed and breakfast.

DAY 2

DAY 2 -

NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Our representative will pick you at your hotel or residence at 0700hrs for a 5hr drive to Amboseli National Park where you will spend two days exploring the park set at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro. The park is an open ecosystem boasting huge herds of elephants, zebras, buffaloes, hyenas, lions, giraffes, gazelles and numerous bird species not to forget the magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro which offers a scenic background for photographers. You will arrive at the lodge on time for lunch, a brief afternoon siesta after which you will leave for an evening game drive. On a clear day you will be able to see Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to lodge at dusk for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3

DAY 3 -

EXPLORE AMBOSELI

Relaxed morning breakfast then depart for morning game drive till noon. Return to camp for lunch, brief afternoon siesta followed by an evening game drive. On this day you have an option to indulge in a full day game drive exploring Amboseli with packed picnic lunches to be taken in the park. Amboseli National Park is an open ecosystem boasting huge herds of elephants, zebras, buffaloes, hyenas, lions, giraffes, gazelles and numerous bird species not to forget the magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro which offers a scenic background for photographers. Get action of the elephants getting into and leaving the swamps and crossing the park roads from or to where they call home.

On this day you have an option to do a full day outing in the reserve, with a packed Picnic Lunch to be taken at a scenic, designated location on the Amboseli savannah plains. You also have an option of one hour mid-morning visit to the Maasai village for cultural encounter. The scenic view of elephants with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background will provide you with opportunities for a stunning photography session. After the evening game drive, you will return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4

DAY 4 -

AMBOSELI TO NAIVASHA

Early morning breakfast then check out for your drive to Lake Naivasha. You will down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the Lake. Arrive to your lodge for late lunch, check into your rooms for an afternoon siesta then depart for an evening boat ride at the lake for bird watching and hippo viewing. You will visit the crescent island for a guided walking safari for an hour then cruise back to the main land . Drive to lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5

DAY 5 -

NAIVASHA TO LAKE NAKURU

Enjoy a relaxed morning breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru. Enjoy a mid-morning game drive en-route to your hotel. Arrive in time for your lunch. Enjoy your lunch then check in to your rooms for a brief afternoon siesta, perhaps absorb the surrounding of the lodge before heading out for an evening game drive till sunset. Lake Nakuru is famous for its pink flamingos and over 400 species of birds found here. It is a home to the endangered white rhinos and it is one of the few parks in Kenya that you are guaranteed to see a Rhino. It is also a home of endangered species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the Black and White Rhino. Lions, Water-buck, Buffalo, Monkeys and Baboons are all residents’ here.

DAY 6 -

NAKURU TO MAASAI MARA

Relaxed morning breakfast then depart for your drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve - the finest game reserve in the world. Arrive to the gate at around noon, check into the park and enjoy a short en-route game drive to the camp. Arrive to the camp on time for your lunch, a brief afternoon siesta perhaps absorb the surroundings of the camp before setting off for an evening game drive till sunset. Explore the vast tree studded reserve in search wildlife. Some of the famous wild animals in the park you are likely to encounter include: lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, many kinds of birds, antelopes and elephants.

DAY 7 -

EXPLORE MAASAI MARA

Enjoy a relaxed day in Masai Mara with morning and evening game drives in the reserve, you may opt to have a full day romantic adventure outings in the reserve, with a packed Picnic Lunch to be taken at a scenic, designated location on the Masai Mara Savannah plains. Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree-studded Savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop-shop for game viewing activities. You will traverse the Masai Mara reserve on Wildlife viewing drives encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. You will visit the Mara River Mara which involves visiting various river crossing points to witness and capture the wildebeests crossing the great Mara River in numbers along with predator prey action.

One of this day, you have the option of per taking an early morning balloon ride over the Mara plains that will be crowned with a champagne bush breakfast. As you ascend aerially, beautiful features unfold before your eyes – gentle rolling hills, meandering rivers and lush grasslands. After the leisurely champagne bush breakfast. You also have an option of an hour visit the Maasai village for a cultural encounter as you enjoy the en-route game drive back to camp, some downtime before lunch to be followed by an afternoon siesta then an evening game drive and a farewell dinner and overnight.

DAY 8

DAY 8 -

DEPART MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI

Being the final day of your safari, you will have a relaxed morning breakfast and check-out for a short en-route game drive on your way back to Nairobi. You may opt of souvenir shopping in Karen, farewell lunch at Talisman hotel (own cost) after which you will be dropped off at your hotel, airport or location of your choice within. This marks the end of the tour.
