Having spent half my life on Bruny Island, this is a special place for me. With a deep connection to place this is truly my signature experience or tour. We spent the day or 2 amongst the native landscape, sharing stories, short walks and local fresh produce. I take my guests to special quiet locations to enjoy some morning tea, memorable moments and to capture the real backdrop of Bruny Island.
DAY 1
DAY 1 -
7am - Hobart accommodation pickup.
Arrive on Island and discover the Islands historical milestones, Enjoy morning tea, at our special location and Fresh local produce and spectacular native landscape.
1230pm - Local gourmet lunch at the winery.
2pm - Discovery the resilient south Cape Bruny and go back in time and enjoy a lighthouse tour.
300pm - Slowly make our way back to the ferry with a couple of short stops if we have time.
430pm - Catch the ferry back to kettering and head into Hobart for accommodation drop off.

We very much enjoyed a day trip with Ben, who has a very thorough knowledge and close connection to Bruny Island. Would highly recommend Ben and this tour - the morning tea and the location he chose for it is a real highlight.

Bruny Island
Ben is the best local tour guide that you can find for Bruny Island, he grew in the Island and showed us the best kept secrets of Bruny Island, places for surfing, fishing and the best views. (where he used to go with his dad, and where he takes his kids now) We also went to the usual places, the neck, hiking, etc. Ben is really easy-going with an excellent sense of humor. He was very accommodating to our requests and he knows EVERYONE in the Island. He got us a private tour of the Bruny Lighthouse for 20 minutes with the guard, they even took us to the top of the lighthouse and we were able to get outside at the top of the lighthouse to see the views and feel the strong winds. We had a lovely lunch at the Winery. If you want a private tour of Bruny Island or any part of Tasmania we highly recommend Ben, you cannot go wrong with him. I wish there were more than 5 stars !!!!!

We did an overnight tour on Bruny Island with Ben/Adventure Trails Tasmania, and it was fantastic in every respect. Ben communicated with us extensively before our tour to make sure we'd see everything we wanted to see and to get an idea of how we wanted to pace our time on Bruny Island. He planned a complete range of experiences for us, from oysters to trails to time on the coast. He was a pleasure to work with and a complete delight as a tour guide and traveling companion. Ben is knowledgeable and efficient and thoughtful--truly everything about our time on Bruny was top notch. I can't recommend this experience highly enough.
