Colombo City Tour

Colombo

Half Day

The Capital Colombo is vibrant and emerging with greater energy to become the greatest in South Asia. The name Colombo is derived from the local term KOLA AMBA, which refers to wild mango trees by locals in the early days, explained clearly in “Historic Relations of the Island Ceylon” by Robert Knox.

Mix cultures, and diverse ethnicities, populating over 10% of the Islands’ population in the Colombo district. Skyscrapers and modern structures are rising high in the Colombo sky changing its traditional identity, and old colonial beauties hiding behind those new buildings but yet they are the hidden beauty of the city.
