Listening to stories of magnificent structures, or tasting local food, or learning heirloom arts of the city is a real touch to the soul of Istanbul!

I invite you to let this stunning city penetrate into every each cell of you!

DAY 1

DAY 1 -

Meeting point is the front of Constantine’s Column located next to Cemberlitas tram station of T1 tram line.

After we meet we walk through Grand Bazaar. Let’s stroll on the narrow streets of the bazaar that is known as one of the biggest and oldest shopping malls in the world.

Starting the day with a cup of coffee is the best! We stop by an inn of Grand Bazaar to drink Turkish coffee. You can see how it’s cooked and served! It’s also a perfect time to talk about Turkish coffee culture when you taste it!

We say goodbye to the coffee house and walk through Suleymaniye Mosque. It’s a work of art built by Sinan the Great Architect. He built it for Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent! Amazing stories are waiting for you at this mosque!

We leave Suleymaniye Mosque to go to Eminönü neighborhood. You pass through local markets and finally arrive Egyptian Bazaar which is another historical bazaar of the city! Eminönü is very famous for it’s fish wrap/sandwich, a perfect place to eat the most popular snack.

I bet you haven’t eaten the best baklava of the city yet! Let’s visit a baklava factory to feast your tongue. And you can enjoy your black tea which is a perfect match with baklava in the same place.

After that, let’s go to a mosaic lamp workshop. An expert accompanies you to teach how to design and make your own lamp! After a 2-3 hour workshop, you can enlight your self-designed shiny lamp!
