Pisa's Square of Miracles - Express Walking Tour in Italy

Our first stop will be the chance to catch sight of the wonderful square with its famous Leaning Tower (a true jewel of Romanesque art). Are you ready to climb eight flights of steps? The final gift will be a breathtaking view of the city!

After climbing the tower I’ll help you discovering the history of the Baptister (an example of the transition from the Romanesque style to the Gothic style).

Next we will go to admire the cycles of frescoes by Francesco Traini & Bonamico Buffalmacco in the Monumental Cemetery.

We’ll then head towards the Apse Mosaic of Cimabue and the pulpit by Giovanni Pisano inside the Cathedral.

Later, we’ll go to see Piazza dei Cavalieri (the second most important square in town) and the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (a public higher university school that links its name to a long series of famous people like Giovanni Gentile, Luigi Russo or the father of Italian computing Alessandro Faedo).

At last, you will taste typical Italian cuisine in a typical Trattoria.
