Private Tour of the Uffizi Gallery

On this tour of the Uffizi Gallery, I’ll guide you along statues, portrait collections & Grotesques from the East Corridor, as well as countless other pieces, such as The Madonnas by Masolino & Masaccio, the Madonna with Child and two angels by Filippo Lippi & The Virtues by Pollaiolo. From works by young Leonardo da Vinci to venetian paintings from Giovanni & Gentile Bellini, Giorgione & Tiziano.

We’ll also cover the hall of Giotto & the late 1200s, and the hall of International flamboyant Gothic, where we’ll see the Adoration of the Magi by Gentile da Fabriano & the Coronation of the Virgin by Lorenzo Monaco.

Seeing the Diptych of the Duchess and Duke of Urbino, I’ll go over women’s role in the Renaissance. Next to the Birth of Venus and The Spring, I’ll discuss how women bleached hair in said period.

I’ll especially focus on costume design between 1400s and the Mannerism, the fashion design in Bronzino’s Eleonora da Toledo, and in Raphael’s portraits from the hall of Michelangelo & himself.
