Woolloomoo is an eastern suburb of the city of Sydney, NSW. It is situated only 1.5 km (0.93 miles) from the city’s central business district. The suburb is a low-lying area near the Woolloomoo Bay of the Sydney Harbor. Initially, the locality was dominated by working-class residents. The trams here form a major transport vehicle and was developed in phases. The suburb is popular for its Finger Wharf, known for its unusual size.
