Take a bite of their famous fried chicken dinners, try out some of the historic boysenberries (Knotts Berry Farm started out as a boysenberry farm) and scare yourself silly in the Old West Ghost Town. There’s also tons of roller coasters for the adrenaline junkie, stage shows and Snoopy for the younger kids, as well as loads of incredible food.

For your younger cousin who loves water parks, there’s no better place to go than Knott’s Soak City. Right next to Knott’s Berry Farm, Knott’s Soak City waterpark is full of fun for the whole family, and it is perfect for cooling off in the California heat. Adrenaline junkies can try out the Old Man Falls’ 63-foot vertical chutes. And if you’re scared of heights, not to worry! There are plenty of lazy rivers and even an interactive beach house!

For the uncle that really likes national treasures, check out Knott’s Independence Hall! This hall is an exact, brick-by-brick replica of the original Independence Hall in Philadelphia. So you can act out having to hide the declaration of independence when waterparks and rollercoasters get a little tiresome. Plus, Knott’s independence hall is totally free, and it includes a replica of the Liberty Bell, some presidential artifacts and an interactive guide with the founding fathers. It’s just like taking a quick trip to Philadelphia while you’re already on vacation!
