Located at the South Rim, in the National Geographic Visitor Center is a 6-story IMAX theater with over 12,000 watts of digital surround sound. At the theater, you will be able to literally see the Grand Canyon, throughout time, as if you were physically there. The tour will let you soar over the Canyon rim, raft down the Colorado river, and climb the cliff face, all without leaving your seat. 4. Water and Bus Tour


If you have the time and want to go down into the Canyon, check out Canyon Smooth Water Bus Tours. This tour starts out as a bus ride to Page, Arizona that will take you through views of the Grand Canyon National Park and the Navajo Indian Reservation. 6. Visit the South Rim Historic Village
