Capri is an island off of Italy known for it’s hospitality and stunning views, so why not stay somewhere with both? Bettola Del Re is located in the town of Anacapri, just a few short minutes from the busier town of Capri. In it’s second year of operation, the owners enjoy hosting travelers from around the world and are always available to help you make the best out of your stay on the island. When investing your time and money into planning the perfect vacation, it is important that where you start and finish your day is equally as good, if not better, than the daily excursions you’ve planned for yourself. Keep reading to see what makes this bed and breakfast special.

Cleanliness is top priority

Bettola Del Re offers three rooms to guests, while the rest is reserved for the hosts. The rooms may not look like much from the outside as they are hidden behind what appear to be white closet doors, but the interior is nothing short of a page out of HGTV’s magazine. The rooms are freshly painted in white, and are matching with the white sheets, blankets, pillows, and chairs. The beds are nestled into a small nook where an overhead light illuminates your book as you read and relax after a long day on the island. The bathrooms are equally beautiful, offering every amenity you need. The television channels come in clear, but guests can only view Italian channels. Just outside the building is a small terrace where guests can eat or enjoy a nice bottle of wine in the evening.

The best breakfast you will find outside your own kitchen

Breakfast is included with your stay and it is better than what you would pay for at a cafe. Pastries, fresh fruits, desserts, meats, and cheeses line the counter every morning. Juice and water are there for your convenience, though they also have a cappuccino machine. Do not sleep through it; it’s honestly better than most meals you will pay for.

Save a few bucks by staying in Anacapri

Anacapri > Capri

The island of Capri is not large, nor are the towns of Capri and Anacapri. Capri happens to be located just above the port that brings you in from mainland Italy, which means it tends to see more tourists that come through on day trips. Capri is certainly nice, but Anacapri offers a bit of peace you may not find elsewhere. Just a 10 minute bus ride from the port, Bettola Del Re is a 60 second walk from the last bus stop in Anacapri. For the more adventurous, it’s about a 45 minute walk, but the bus is worth the 1.6 EUR or 1.77 USD. That same bus stop can take you back to the port, the town of Capri, and down to the Blue Grotto. A 10 minute walk from the bed & breakfast gets you to small authentic Italian restaurants frequented more by locals than tourists.

You've planned the perfect itinerary, choose the perfect bed & breakfast

Bettola Del Re is nothing short of wonderful. It’s a small and intimate bed & breakfast that offers you easy access to all the main attractions on the island. Avoid the hustle and bustle of the tour groups in Capri and be welcomed each morning and night by a clean and crisp room. Visit their website for additional photos and contact information!
