Fort Bragg is the largest military base of the US army which has been designed as a town. The base even includes two golf courses! If you find yourself visiting this town with your family, you should definitely visit the 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum. Head to Smith Lake Recreation Area for a fun day on the beach or on hiking and mountain biking trails. With the exception of Fayetteville, Fort Bragg is surrounded by sparsely populated towns and wooded areas that make it ideal for a nature expedition. Don’t worry you don’t have to pitch your own tents or fight mosquitoes in the dark. Experience glamping, which is essentially luxury camping, and you will never fear the outdoors. Read on to discover the best glamping spots near Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) host status, recent guest reviews, prices, availability of dates, decor, and a location that facilitates glamping or is close to glamping spots. 1. All-season tent near natural waterbody, Fuquay-Varina (from USD 100)

Surrounded by the woods and within steps from a small lake, this glamping site definitely enjoys a scenic location. An indoor propane heater and an electric heater will keep you warm as the temperature dips during the night. A small table with coffee and tea-making supplies is in the tent, but you will have to cook outdoors either on the grill or a stovetop. The host can provide a grill kit for just 5 USD.

There is no running water in the tent. There’s a separate shower tent but only when the temperature is above freezing. For all other purposes please remember to carry water with you.
