Washington, Pennsylvania is a few miles outside of Pittsburgh, very close to the Pennsylvania border. The Duncan & Miller Glass Museum is a great place to visit if you have a few hours to spare. This museum has different shapes of glass like animals and baskets. They also have the usual shapes like cups and stained glass pieces. Some pieces are even for sale. For a bite to eat, there are a few choices for guests to choose from. There is Subway and the Olive Garden for the usual meals, but for a more unique meal, try Hog Father’s LLC. They have some great BBQ dishes like pulled pork, brisket and mac and cheese. Another great place to eat is Solomon Seafood. They have many different seafood dishes and beef on tap.
