The indoor bath
The indoor bath has a rare to find interior. The water flows from the higher pools to the lower ones. This is often seen at open air hot springs, but rather unique for indoor baths. Therefore the ceiling is rather high too.
The bath is covered in nice hot spring steam. You can expect positive effect even from this mist. The fragrance isn’t very strong, but it’s soft and typical for this place.

The upper pool of the inside bath has water with 600 mg of metasilicic acid, so it’s considered the ultimate beautification hot spring.
Open air hot springs have a nice view, but if you’re looking for a beautiful skin effect, enter this water pool in the inside bath. It is a bit greenish and muddy, so it feels slightly thick. The water is also rich in iron, therefore some of the bathroom tiles have turned brown. Ladies, remember well this water pool in the upper section of the inside bath.

An open air gender-mixed bath with a scenic view!

When I visited it in the end of October, the autumn colors season was about to end. Breath-taking beauty! And the greenish water! Beautiful! Lately I’ve clearly become a fan of inside baths, but this is quite special. A splendid open air hot spring! However, it is gender-mixed so ladies should watch out when they come from the inside bath.
Enjoy the open air bath at the perfect temperature!
It felt really great! Wide! Beautiful skin! Scenic view! Abundant amount of water! It is exactly 40 degrees. I enjoyed a long and leisurely bath in this perfect water temperature and under the cool wind. The water is a bit thick so for a little while I felt that even I became a pretty woman! By the way this open air bath uses two different hot spring sources mixed together.
Besides, it’s a great pleasure to watch the snow from an open air bath in winter Niseko. First you warm yourself up in the inside bath and then you go outside. In colder months you should put a warm towel over your head as you’re dipping in the open air bath. In winter the head gets cold easily and blood vessels shrink. Therefore especially older people should be careful.
Both the water and the view are splendid
It was fantastic! It’s rare to find such good quality hot spring water. It’s even worth going all the way to Niseko just for the hot spring.
In Niseko not only the hot springs are good, but also the nature is beautiful and the food is delicious too! The resort is attractive even outside of the ski season. The spring Niseko when life is born, the summer and fresh Niseko, the autumn Niseko with its colorful trees and the snowy winter Niseko.
My visit was in the peak of the autumn colors season, so next time I want to visit in spring, summer and winter. Of course, there are other recommended hot springs in Niseko too! I will introduce them next time. Low cost airline companies fly to Chitose Airport from Kanto and Kansai regions, so the trip can be surprisingly affordable.
