The owners do charge extra for more than two people and it can get a bit crowded if you’re trying to fit the whole family. It is not the ideal place if you are planning to spend a lot of time in your room, but it is the perfect place to rest your head and is in a great location to access some of Lake Tahoe’s greatest highlights.
Though the owners live in the attached cabin, you will hardly know they are there. This apartment has a separate entrance and the shared wall connects to a storage room, so you needn’t worry about hearing the residents below. However, if you need any travel advice or help, this couple is very accommodating and willing to help you make the most of your time in Lake Tahoe.
Sleep well, enjoy home-cooked meals, and fit the whole family
The eclectic, rustic décor of this apartment is oozing with Lake Tahoe charm. Save money by using the kitchenette to cook for yourself, or simply enjoy the ability to make your own coffee in the morning. The kitchenette includes a stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. You might find it hard to cook gourmet, five-course meals here, but it is well enough equipped for most cooking needs.
The bathroom has reliable hot water and a bathtub. The apartment comes with heating, free wireless Internet, free linens and towels, shampoo, a blow dryer, an iron, a guitar, and a few games to keep you entertained during your stay. You can enjoy the incredible view of the lake from the table and chairs in the yard.

This quiet, residential neighborhood has a trailhead for hiking and mountain biking within walking distance from the apartment. You are also only a few minutes drive from King’s Beach and Tahoe City. The beach, water sports, ski resorts, shopping, restaurants, and all the exciting Tahoe activities are easily accessible from this apartment.
There is a bus stop at the end of the street, but it is difficult to get around the area without a car. It is highly recommended if you are not driving your own car that you rent a car before heading to Lake Tahoe. There is free parking at the apartment and the owners are happy to give you instructions about how to get any and everywhere.
Peaceful, quaint, and affordable accommodation at Lake Tahoe
The apartment is located in a pretty quiet neighborhood and is not ideal for party people. The owners ask those renting the apartment to respect this and remain relatively quiet during their stay. This means it is perfect for those seeking a quiet mountain getaway. It is also a great place to fit the whole family for cheap, but keep in mind the apartment is in no way “baby proofed”.
The location could not be better. You have access to practically everything Tahoe has to offer.
