Headline attractions include the spectacular White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) and the Black House (Baan Dam). In addition to various other temples and museums, you can easily take trips to the province’s hot springs, the border markets at Mae Sai, and the Golden Triangle – the northern part of Chiang Rai province where Thailand, Laos, and Burma / Myanmar meet.
