There are many room options to choose from at S1 Hostel. The dorms only have six beds and offer mixed gender and female or male only rooms. Each room has an air-conditioner and a private bathroom with shower. There are large lockers in each room that come with a key for you to store most of your belongings. There are also private rooms that can fit 1 - 4 guests, all including their own private bathroom. Take note that there are no elevators here, so if you don’t want to climb stairs make sure to get a room on one of the lower levels. With washers and drying facilities on the first floor, you can do your own wash for 50 THB (1.40 USD) per load. Prices for the rooms range from 325 THB (9.00 USD) for a dorm bed to 900 THB (25.00 USD) for a private room for four people.
Work and relax in the rooftop garden
The rooftop garden is an awesome addition to the hostel. With plenty of seating from tables to floor cushions, you could find yourself lounging and reading a book all day in this relaxing atmosphere. In the evening, grab some take-away at one of the many stands nearby and have a picnic while watching a movie on the 60-inch flat screen that’s available for anyone’s use.
Stay connected with super fast internet
This is the place to be if you need to be connected to the outside world. Free internet is offered to everyone who stays at S1 Hostel. There are modems on every floor and can connect to any of them, anywhere in the building. With high download speeds, you can watch YouTube or Skype with friends and family until your heart’s content without worrying about interruption because of slow internet connections. It is perfect for those that are in Bangkok on business to stay connected, knowing they have a reliable connection.
Book your tours directly from the front desk
There are many things to do in Bangkok and nearby areas, from visiting Damnoen Saduak floating market to seeing the temples at Ayutthaya. The reception will be happy to help you plan your visit and give you suggestions on what to do. The hostel does get discounted tour prices from the vendors.
