History buffs would definitely enjoy a visit to Netherland Inn Museum in Kingsport. Built in 1802, the museum lies on Netherland Inn Road, that was possibly named after the historic establishment. This has led to the museum being added to the National Register of Historic Places of the US. Designed by the famous railroad engineer William Dunlap, is the famous Church Circle in the heart of Kingsport. The circle is a convergence of the main streets of Kingsport and designed in the form of ‘spoke and wheel’. It has also found its way to the National Register of Historic Places in US.
