History buffs would definitely enjoy a visit to Netherland Inn Museum in Kingsport. Built in 1802, the museum lies on Netherland Inn Road, that was possibly named after the historic establishment. The museum that was originally built for salt distribution was turned into a basic inn for travellers going from Tennessee to Kentucky back then. This has led to the museum being added to the National Register of Historic Places of the US. Designed by the famous railroad engineer William Dunlap, is the famous Church Circle in the heart of Kingsport.
