The castle offers panoramic views over River Dart and the town itself. The peaceful grounds are perfect for a picnic under the trees while exploring the castle. The garden won an award in 2018 for having the most native plants in the area. Throughout the garden, visitors can view artistic sculptures by local artist, Rosie Musgrave.
