You can, however, eat out at a bistro restaurant called Les Sablieres that serves high quality dishes. If you prefer to cook, the apartment has its own kitchen. The main activities here would be lots of hiking in the forest or bathing in the rivers. You won’t regret it, for the views are just amazing.

This old barn has been renovated and modernized. It can accommodate up to six people and has a private entrance. The balcony offers magnificent views of the mountains and the field and the terrace in the large garden is where you can sit down and relax. Some of the activities that you can do mainly involve either walking or canoeing, but one thing is certain though: you won’t run out of beautiful views here. There are restaurants in the village that serve good food too. If you plan to book this home, do some grocery shopping ahead of time or drive 40 minutes to get to the store. There’s wifi but the connection isn’t really reliable.
8. Apartment with swimming pool (from USD 50)
When you visit between May 15 and September 15, you’ll get free access to the swimming pool. The corner terrace is also a good spot for a panoramic sight of Drobie and Sablieres village, and you can have a barbecue there while enjoying the views. Nearby you can join some sporting or cultural events or just stay close to nature. Although this is a really comfortable place, different activities are available each season if you want to venture out. During the summer, you can swim in the pool or the waterfalls. In the winter, perfect activities would be dog sledding and snowshoeing. Autumn and spring would be perfect for hiking.

It’s furnished with everything you need including a small library, washing machine, a swing (perfect for kids), a terrace and games you can enjoy playing while on vacation. Since they are in a remote location, it may be better for you to bring groceries for your entire stay. If you don’t mind driving, the supermarket is an hour away but there’s a small shop nearby.
