The Elephant Sanctuary is an amazing way to learn about and interact with these gentle giants. This is one of the most-visited attractions in South Africa, so if you love wildlife, you must add this to your itinerary if you're going on a romantic getaway. We had a thrilling experience visiting with a lovely couple from the USA. 

This hot air balloon ride overlooking the Magaliesberg Mountains is the most awesome experience. It's a perfect activity for outdoorsy travelers, and I highly recommend it if you're visiting South Africa.

Alcazaba Lodges is also less than a 15-minute drive from FNB Stadium, the largest stadium in the country. The place is a heaven for sports lovers, having hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup. A tour to Soweto means you can learn all things sports, culture, and lifestyle.
