The State Park is home to sea cows or manatees which are endangered mammals. This state park attends to injured and orphaned manatees helping in their rehabilitation. You can get close to these majestic creatures that are present in the park. The floating observatory allows you to walk underwater and watch different kinds of marine creatures, including manatees.
