5. Try the Gotthard Railway Line
The Gotthard Railway is the Swiss alpine railway, connecting northern and southern Europe. It was a significant boon to the country as it joined two regions of the country, previously separated by the Alps. Construction on the railway line began in 1872 and was completed in full by 1882.
