Known as the “Mountain of Mountains”, the Matterhorn is the most-photographed mountain in the world and stands proud at 4,478 metres (14691.6 feet) tall. It is situated on the Swiss-Italian border, overlooking the Swiss town of Zermatt in the canton of Valais to the northeast and the Italian town of Breuil-Cervinia in the Aosta Valley to the south. It also features plenty of things to do that are suitable for travelers of all kinds. There are also a number of excellent accommodation options around the area, so you don’t have to worry about finding a place to stay in Zermatt. Using only natural materials in the rooms, we adore this unique ski hotel. There are two room types that offer views of the Matterhorn: the Junior Suite and double room. What guests are saying about the view:
“Loved our stay here! The hotel’s location is exceptional. We woke up looking directly at the Matterhorn as the first rays of sun touched its peak. We booked half-board and were really glad we did; not only would it be too stressful to go eat in Zermatt and make it back with the Gornergratbahn in time, but we were served delicious cheese fondue one night, and had an amazing ‘French evening’ the other.” - by Google reviewer, Lisa Kathrin

Luxurious hotel with exceptional amenities and service.
Convenient city center location with stunning views of Zermatt and easy access to attractions.
Spa, gym, library, bar, terrace with Matterhorn view, outdoor jacuzzi, warm water swimming pool.
Nestled on top of a rock, 148 feet (45 metres) above the roofs of central Zermatt, the best view of Matterhorn from this hotel has to be, in our opinion, from the outdoor hot tub. None of the rooms are identical and so they vary in terms of size; some even have a private balcony.
The best private view is from the Matterhorn Suite but there are plenty of lower-priced options available. It is worth noting that there is a minimum stay at the hotel.

What guests are saying about the view:
“The Matterhorn shots were taken from our balcony of our room. Amazing. We did have to be very patient in viewing the mountain since it was typically covered by clouds the three days we were here.
