Widely considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, the volcanic island of Santorini offers incredible views that many only dream of seeing once during their lifetime. Though the stunning scenery is ample from the wineries built into the sides of the cliffs, or the restaurants with sweeping perspectives of the caldera, there may be no better place to see the multitude of beauty than from the crystal blue and aqua waters of the Aegean.
Sunset Oia Cruises present a great way to see Santorini and the beautiful Aegean!

Sunset cruises offer a variety of different catamarans at your disposal. The company offers both private and semi-private tours at costs ranging from 95 EUR (approximately 110 USD) to 170 EUR (approximately 190 USD) depending on the size of the boat and number of people in your party. With many options to choose from, you can customize an incredible day on the sea, while enjoying the incomparable beauty of one of Greece’s most famous islands.
The boats leave from the stunning port of Ammoudi Bay twice a day to sail the caldera and to provide a unique experience in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. The day cruises leave the port at 10am and return after four hours of sailing the Aegean. You can also choose the sunset cruise that leaves around 4pm and returns after sunset.

All tours travel to the old volcano (Paleo Kameni) to stop for a swim in the warm sulfuric waters of the hot springs. At the springs, you can indulge in a mud bath that locals say revitalizes your skin and makes you look years younger. After a 35-minute stop, the catamaran will tour the north side of the island to show you the famous red beach (for a short swim and picture taking), and then to the white beach for a delicious bbq lunch, prepared by a very attentive and entertaining crew.
The meal provided consists of your choice of chicken or pork souvlaki (a traditional Greek dish) barbequed on a skewer, with tzatziki, rice, fresh cooked local vegetables, and a local island dessert. Wine, soft drinks, and Ouzo – the famous local anise flavored apertif – are unlimited and included in the price. Snorkeling equipment is also provided, and you are encouraged to use it for the longest stop at the white beach (2 hours) while lunch is being prepared.

Most boats return to Amoudi Bay after the tour is finished, but there are a couple that drop you off in the Port of Vlychada (on the other side of the island), so you’ll have to take a transfer bus back. Make sure to check when you book your excursion. The company does provide transportation to and from your hotel so there’s no need for a car or taxi.
