Another is that it is home to Homer’s sirens that lure Ulysses. There’s also a lot of fisher folk who swear that they saw UFOs hovering the island or lights coming from the island and underwater shadows. Additionally, there are said to be sightings of the Virgin Mary here.

Draw inspiration from the island

Known for its magnetic force and the energy that cannot be explained coming from the island, as well as its beauty, the island has been a source of inspiration to many artists. One example is the musician Mike Oldfield who made the island the inspirations for his album, “The Voyager.” He also uses the picturesque attraction as the cover photo of his album. Join a guided tour

For your safety, it is better to join a guided tour when you decide to hit up the island. It is much better if it is accredited by the local government, for you to be secured. Also, joining a guided tour is hassle-free, where all you need to do is show up, and everything will run smoothly.

Check for weather updates

Before going or when planning a trip to the island, always check for weather updates, to avoid any delay and accidents on the waters. Though Ibiza generally enjoys sunny climate with hot summers and mild winters, with only occasional showers throughout the year, it is best to be prepared. The best time to visit would be around June to September when the temperature is perfect for beach activities (as well as checking out summer nightlife). Dress in loose-fitting clothes for the summer while waterproof, light to medium clothes should be packed for the colder months.
