Well-known as one of the most unique capital cities in the Balkans, Sarajevo offers an excellent combination of great architecture, rich history and vibrant nightlife at a highly-affordable price for travelers coming to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Experience a stay at Hostel Lucky Sarajevo and feel like you never left home, thanks to the cozy atmosphere made by the staff and guests here. Read on to get a further insight into the hostel:

Great location near the City Hall

It takes no longer than 10 minutes to walk from the hostel along the romantic Bosna River, lying in the middle of the city, to the City Hall. Sarajevo’s Old Town and its main attractions are not far from here. From the main railway and bus station, you can also take a tram that will lead you here in around 15 minutes. A taxi from the central bus and train station costs no more than 10 BAM (5.60 USD).

Cozy atmosphere

One of the best things I experienced in the hostel was the cozy atmosphere created by staff and guests. There’s a nice common space for chilling at nights and watching television if you are in the mood for a cinema night with new friends. Guest can also always start a get-together night starting with a few drinks and head to bars and clubs in the city centre. Sarajevo is well-known for having one of the most lively nightlifes in the country, with good quality music concerts and live performances, especially during the summer months.

Self-service kitchen

Next to the outdoor smoking area, there’s a self-service kitchen where you can store and cook your own food. Keep in mind that there are lots of great Bosnian dishes to try in town but vegetarian and vegan options are very limited, so you may want to cook for yourself in the case of long-term travel. Staff and guests here sometimes do like to order or cook and share food with each other. Tea and coffee are also given for free.

Cozy beds on a low budget

Good news is you can enjoy all these facilities and the great atmosphere for as low a price as 10 BAM (around 5.80 USD) per night for a dorm bed, including heater, towel, linen, and a private locker. You can even ask the receptionist to do your laundry for free. I can assure you you wouldn’t be able to find such a great price anywhere else in Sarajevo! You don’t even have to suffer with those annoying loft beds because all guests stay in a single ground-level bed with lots of space for your own comfort. The walls are nicely decorated with paintings, bringing an artistic and calming atmosphere to the dorm rooms.

Try your luck and stay at Lucky Hostel

My stay at Sarajevo was one of the best hostel deals I had, with quality facilities offered for an amazing price. I even decided to come back there and stay for one week because I enjoyed the company with locals here and I also like the country a lot. Book your stay at Lucky Hostel Sarajevo and never feel like leaving again!
