Cozy rooms and friendly hosts (from USD 50)
The hostel has 14 rooms in total, located on the first and second floor of this three floor building. Rooms are cozy and luminous with comfortable beds and pillows. They are clean and fully equipped. Each room has a fridge, an air-conditioner, a television and a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Towels and toiletries are provided. Rooms are cleaned every day. Most rooms have a small balcony with great views of the city or of the Port of Syros.
On the ground floor, there is a living room and a fully equipped, shared kitchen available to all guests. A very friendly couple, Anthony and Mary, run the hostel and are always available to answer your questions. Every morning, Mary will make your coffee and pair it with cookies, while you will meet Anthony when he picks you up at the port, upon your arrival. The couple will make your stay very pleasant, nice and relaxed.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. There is no elevator, so I would not recommend it to people with difficulties walking up stairs.

The main highlight of the hostel is definitely its third floor terrace. As soon as you ascend to the terrace, you will be amazed by the panoramic view towards the port of Ermoupolis and the city center. This is the place where you will have your breakfast in the morning while watching the boats pass by. If you have time, go upstairs during sunset for incredibly beautiful photos. Make sure you try traditional Greek coffee or modern Greek coffee, called frappe. Mary will be glad to make you either.

Pefkakia Park Hostel’s location is ideal, as it is within walking distance from everything in the city. In front of the property, there is a park with pine trees and a playground. Miaouli Square, where the City Hall is located, is only a 6 minute walk away. At Miaouli Square, you can easily catch a bus or a taxi in case you do not have a car and would like to explore the rest of the island. The port is an 8-minute walk from the hostel and the famous Vaporia Beach is only 15 minutes on foot.
