This new home nestled between Suances and the mountains is about five minutes from Suances. It marks a perfect balance between sea and mountains. In just over 30 minutes, you can get to the towns Comillas, Santillana del Mar, San Vicente, the nature park of Cabarceno, or the caves of Soplao. There are two bedrooms with double beds and bathroom with shower. If the other bedroom is occupied, the bathroom will be shared. There is a large, eat-in kitchen that is used exclusively by the host. However, breakfast is included, which is served in the kitchen. At the rear of the house is a covered furnished patio and large private yard.

The heavy stone masonry on the exterior and interior of this apartment gives a clue as to its former purpose. The apartment once stored salted anchovies and was also used to store canteen supplies for whaling vessels along the Cantabrian coast. It was restored in 2011 by the current owner who has opened it to guests. The interior setting is very contemporary and is a nice juxtaposition of the stone walls. The spacious living area has a sofa bed, dining table, chairs, and TV. The contemporary kitchen has white cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There are two bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with twin beds. There is a crib available. The bathroom has a washer and walk-in shower. You have a view of the sea from every vantage point in this bright, breezy duplex apartment less than a mile (200 meters) from La Concha Beach. Suances’ beaches, restaurants, and supermarkets are just a few steps away. The apartment is on the top two floors of a new building and has a very stylish interior. There are two balconies from where you can take in the view and enjoy sea breezes. The modern, fully fitted galley kitchen has a fridge-freezer, vitroceramic cooktop, microwave oven, washing machine, and all other necessary kitchen utensils you might need like hand blender, coffee machine, toaster, juicer, pots, pans, and iron with ironing board.
