You do need a car but distance to Westport
It does not seem like a vacation rental as it features high-end amenities throughout
We were 6 adults (3 couples) but it could easily have taken another couple (four bedrooms)

It is a 3 bedroom/ 3 5 bathroom lovely home that was spotless with all of the amenities
Each bedroom had it's own bathroom
The views out of the living room and kitchen featured landscapes that were truly beautiful
There was a well organized binder with any information you might need for the house and the town
Traveling as a family of 6 adults we needed a place with plenty of room

was Croagh Patrick which is considered to be the holiest mountain in Ireland

Even a Welcome Basket with goodies greeted us from them

Much of the house is like an Agatha Christie set with old and damaged furniture
the view is beautiful from the house the caretakers are fantastic if u need anything their there
