One of our favorites on this list, this spacious cottage on an award-winning development is just adorable. With the log fire in the lounge are and sea shells decorating the rooms, there’s a hint of outdoors indoors which we love. The bedrooms are decorated with sea blue and green colorings, with white wash furnishings throughout. There is access to an indoor pool, gym, beauty salon, tennis courts and a pub. Phew, it’s like a village in its own right! The two rooms offer one with a king-sized bed and the other with two full-size bunk beds and a single bed.

This modern studio is in a quiet area of Filey and so is perfect for a romantic trip with lots of walking along the beach because there is no TV on site. We like this property for the attention for detail; not only do you get a welcome food pack but also bathrobes and slippers are provided upon arrival. We also love the free-standing ornate bathtub!

This stunning cottage can not be done justice just by the photographs alone. The decoration is completed to a very high standard and the location is excellent. If you are bringing children, there is an Xbox on site which can keep them entertained. The bedrooms are completed with beautiful natural wood furnishings and the downstairs areas complement this with white wash wood in the kitchen and the lounge with cozy leather seats.
