The “Fuji Shiba Sakura Festival” started in 2008, is the largest shiba sakura festival in the Tokyo metropolitan area with 800,000 of shiba sakura, and will also be held this year.

Shiba sakura planted in a vast land in the vicinity of Lake Motosu, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. Fuji seen beyond the bright pink color makes this shooting point very picturesque. The 3.8 m square observation deck is a point that allows you to appreciate the beautiful gradients of the shiba sakura and Mt. Fuji. “Good Stuff Mount Fuji Festival” was held in the dining and product sales booths inside the venue. “Yoshida Udon” and “Fujinomiya Yakisoba”, there are local shops opening with limited time gourmet for the Fuji Shiba Sakura Festival, where you can enjoy various gourmets. The Snow Scenery and Mt. Fuji! The Oshino Hakkai!

which is the ultimate combination? recommended photo-shoot spots you would want to go again and again! | the snow scenery and mt. fuji! the oshino hakkai!

Melted snow from Mount Fuji is filtered over a period of several decades, and the gathering of ponds that springs become crystal clear water that make up the Oshino Hakkai. The water, which is also specified in the meisui hyakusen (selected 100 exquisite waters of Japan) is transparent, and the beauty of the Yuchi pond and Sokonuke pond is exceptional in particular. If you try seeing the fish swimming in the middle, it seems as if they are floating in the air.

The shot is located in the sokonuke pond near the shooting spot of Mount Fuji, and you will need to enter into the premises of the “Wood Museum of Han (Hazel)” to go to this pond. (300 JPY) There is a museum that looks like an old house near the entrance of the site, and you can see Mt. Fuji over the building. Since the scenic view is more fantastic when snow piles up here, it is good to check on the status, such places as the Mount Fuji live camera. The photo is from late January, and the snow can be often seen in January to February.

Oshino Hakkai is famous for having many cherry trees in the area, and the Somei-yoshino cherry tree is beautiful about the end of April every year, it is fresh green in the summer and in the fall, autumn leaves can be seen from the end of October to early November. All four seasons are enjoyable.

Mt. Fuji shines crimson! Sunset from Lake Motosu!

which is the ultimate combination? recommended photo-shoot spots you would want to go again and again! | mt. fuji shines crimson! sunset from lake motosu!

Fuji over Lake Motosu which is one of the Fuji Five Lakes is a famous scene, and also the design of the thousand yen and old five thousand yen-bill. The angle at which the form of Mt. Fuji is hit with the beautiful sunset is subtle, and I often see sights of tripod of photographers arranged in a line near the Lake at sunset.

In the lakeside Bed and Breakfast and restaurant “Hiroshian”,you can see the original photo by photographer Koyo Okada that became the basis for the bill framed, and you can the beautiful upside down Mt. Fuji said to be only seen one or two times a year.

The photos posted here is the close up of Mt. Fuji illuminated by sunset, but if you look at the thousand-yen bill in your wallet, you can see the upside down Mt. Fuji in the beautiful Lake Motosu shores.

Mt. Fuji under the stars! Lake Shoji at Night!

which is the ultimate combination? recommended photo-shoot spots you would want to go again and again! | mt. fuji under the stars! lake shoji at night!

Lake Shoji is one of the Fuji Five Lakes, and is one of the shooting points where Mt. Fuji is holding and embracing the child Mt. Omuro in front. There are many people who fish the wakasagi (pond smelt) and herabuna (hera-crucian) since the lake is a habitat for many plankton.

Since there is not much man-made development, there is much of nature, and there aren’t too many buildings around the lake so you can see the beautiful starry sky. These photographs are from the Tategohama, which is a place where you can go down to the lakeside beach, and is a scenic spot where the stars and Mt. Fuji can be seen reflected though it includes the light of the road. In the winter the air is clearer and there are many bright stars ideal for astronomical observations. But you can enjoy the starry sky regardless of the season, and the blink of stars increases from the spring to the summer, and in the summer the Milky Way is rich and beautiful when in the summer, and the Perseus meteor shower is visible in mid-August every year.

There is a prefectural free parking in front of the beach. There is a bathroom between the beach and the parking lot. Dress warm during the cold winter, as it gets cold considerably.

The Night View and Mt. Fuji! Lake Ashinoko Skyline Mikuni Pass!

the night view and mt. fuji! lake ashinoko skyline mikuni pass!

Lake Ashinoko skyline through the west side of Lake Ashinoko is a treasure trove of scenic views! Among them, the best view is from Mikuni Pass, where up to the foot of Mt. Fuji visible. There is parking in Mikuni Pass at an altitude of 1070 m. While you park for free, you can see the night view over the front glass. With Mt. Fuji to the north, Suruga Bay to the south, a large panorama overlooking almost 180 degrees can be seen, and a sigh comes out from the beauty of the magic hour of dusk.

The Lake Ashinoko skyline has many scenic spots that can be enjoyed during the daytime such as the Shakushi pass overlooking the panoramic view of Mt. Fuji, and the rest house Lake View overlooking the Lake Ashinoko. An acoustic road called the Melody Bepu is located between the Mikuni Pass and dipper Pass, it is possible to listen to “mountain of Fuji” nursery rhyme when running at a constant speed, so try turning off the audio while driving the section.

Toll: 600 JPY Hours: 7:00 to 19:00 (Note: business hours is short)

No bathrooms in the Mikuni Pass parking lot

Because sunset is around 19:00 between July-August, and will have to withdraw as soon as the sun sets, it may cause confusion. September to 5 around is recommended if you would like to enjoy the night view and Magic Hour slowly.

Spectacular views of Mount Fuji that will make you want to go again and again!

The places introduced this time are only a few of many scenic spots of Mt. Fuji, and the expression changes depending on the season and time. Many return to see the changing appearance, and become impressed each time. By all means, go out and enjoy the superb views Mount Fuji produces!
