Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a historical site that has been standing since the 12th century. It is located about 25 kilometers to the eastern side from the heart of Kathmandu city. This place features temples, the king's court, and museums, all of which are linked with the medieval history of Nepal.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square features numerous non-live temples, as many shrines were damaged and ruined in the last earthquakes, rendering them non-functional for worship.
