Dublin Castle was the seat of the British Government in Ireland for over 700 years, from 1204 up until when Ireland got its independence in 1922.

Christchurch Cathedral is Dublin's oldest working building, established in 1170 by the Normans under Richard de Clare, otherwise known as Strongbow. His tomb is located in the Cathedral. Also, the Cathedral Crypt is the largest in both Ireland and the UK. 

Guinness is Ireland's most famous drink. It was brewed in Dublin by Arthur Guinness in 1759, and later, it became the world's largest brewery. The Guinness Storehouse is Ireland's most visited tourist attraction.

St Patrick's Cathedral is the National Cathedral of Ireland. This stunning building was established in 1191, and it is dedicated to St Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It was here on the grounds of the Cathedral that St Patrick baptised the Irish pagans to Christianity in the 5th Century. 

Trinity College is Ireland's most celebrated university, established by Queen Elizabeth 1 in 1592. It's one of the seven ancient universities of Great Britain and Ireland and is located in the heart of Dublin City.

The Brazen Head is Dublin's oldest pub, established in 1198. It's famous for its food, drink, music and banter.

Dublin is known for its great bars and traditional Irish music. This is The Irish Celts performing at Darkey Kelly's Pub.

Molly Malone is Dublin's most popular and most visited statue. She was a fishmonger who wheeled her wheelbarrow through the streets of Dublin, selling shellfish in the 1600s. One of Dublin's most iconic songs is named in her honour.

The Ha'penny Bridge was Dublin's first pedestrian bridge that was built in 1816. When it was established, it cost half a penny (Ha'penny) to cross it, hence the name. It's considered to be Dublin's most iconic bridge.

Howth is a beautiful fishing village in North County Dublin.
