2. Rose Garden

Stepping into this garden will take you to the world of roses. It is Asia’s biggest rose garden where you will see more than 1,600 species of roses. This garden is spread over 30 acres (12 hectares) of land. Beautifully carved out flower beds and the fragrance of fresh roses are enough to hypnotize tourists. Every year at the end of February or the beginning of March, a big Rose Festival is celebrated with joy.

3. Enjoy boating at Sukhna Lake

Extending crosswise over 3 km (1.8 miles), this human-made lake was made in the year 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe stream spilling out of the Shivalik slopes. The lake is encased by a fairway on the South and the popular Rose Garden on its western end. The Sukhna Lake is the natural home of various fish and transitory flying creatures like cranes and Siberian ducks. The Government of India has declared this lake the national wetland.

Situated amid Shivalik Mountains, Timber Trail is 25-30 kilometers (15-18 mi) from the Haryana-Himachal fringe. Irrespective of its location which is near the city, you will discover enormous tranquility here. You will find this immaculate place surrounded with splendid greenery, natural air and outrageous solace and relaxation.

As you begin the eight minutes of unadulterated excitement by taking the ropeway ride, you will forget all your worries and will lose yourself in the excitement. This ropeway ride will take you to the height of about 3,000 meters (9,842 feet) above sea level. The top is not that big, but you can have delicious food there while beholding the beauty of the hills.
