Gwern Gôf Isaf Campsite is nestled between two mountains. In 1953, Sir John Hunt trained here for the Mt. Everest Expedition that he led. While many mountain climbers come to the area, the scenic beauty of the place has attracted people who want to enjoy a restful and peaceful holiday. You can spend your days staring at the mountains, hiking, or even attempting to climb one. Or you can start taming the wild chickens, stray sheep, and ducks and share with them the lovely garden. The camp can accommodate 50 pitches and there are pillows, mattresses, washrooms, and other basic facilities, except for kitchen utensils and sleeping bags, available here. During the wet months, it will be best to stay in the bunker houses behind the farmhouse.

This campsite is located between Tenby and Saundersfoot. Overlooking the Monkstone Beach, the place offers an excellent view of the sea. There are two camps, one in Tenby and another one in Monkstone. The Tenby campsite does not offer electricity but it allows campers to pitch. There is a facility that offers the campers’ basic needs. The Monkstone site lets campers hook up for electricity but it is for caravans, motor homes, and camper vans only. A facility building is available. You can go hiking or strolling along the beach and the coves.
