If you are a nature lover, then Daan Forest Park is the ideal destination for you. Daan Forest Park is a public park strategically located at the centre of the Daan District of Taipei. This park is 26 hectares (64.24 acres) and it has stroller-friendly walkways and a playground which can be accessed from the MRT. While you are in the park, you will be able to spot some animals such as turtles, ducks and squirrels. The park also is the home to lots of recreational amenities such as a skating rink, an amphitheatre and a playground for children. Fort San Domingo is a tourist destination that is steeped in history. The fort was built by Spanish settlers during 1629 when they used wood as the main material.
