The Morikami Gardens is an amazing museum for Japanese arts and culture located on the west of Delray Beach. It has two museum buildings where you have the Roji-en Japanese Gardens, gift shop, library, and an award-winning Japanese restaurant. Several rotating exhibits are displayed in both buildings, with demonstrations that include tea ceremonies and classes, are held in the main building. Traditional Japanese festivals are celebrated several times a year so am sure you will not lack something fun to do around this place.

2. Indulge in the Cuban lifestyle at Little Havana

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a historic landmark that preserves the Miami estate of agricultural industrialist James Deering and engages the community and its visitors in learning about the arts, history and the environment. This amazing structure was built between 1914 and 1922 and is one of the most well-preserved examples of history in America. Vizcaya features a Main House filled with a decorative art collection, 10 acres of formal gardens, a Rockland hammock, a mangrove shore, and a historic village that tells the full story about Vizcaya.

4. Have a scenic ride on the famous Miami River

I was born in Leningrad, now St. Petersburg, in the Soviet Union, and left for the USA when I was 23 years old, just out of college. Leningrad was and still is a city with great cultural traditions. I fell in love with its world-famous museums, art galleries, theaters, and other attractions. I have been guiding tours for most of my life and began while still in high school. During the summer, Leningrad was visited by numerous youth groups from the UK and USA and English-speaking students were recruited to show them around. That is how I got my first taste of being a tour guide. I continued guiding through college and often worked with young adults. After leaving the USSR, I settled in New York City, went to graduate school, and started my own travel company in 1985. We primarily worked with international visitors showing them famous places of interest all over the country, from coast to coast. Though I had other tour guides working at my company, I continued to guide because it was rewarding and enjoyable. I traveled extensively throughout the country and that's how I first became acquainted with South Florida. I instantly fell in love with this beautiful place and eventually moved to the Miami Beach area. I love South Florida and want my tourists to feel the same way. Upon walking to the place you start soaking in the history of Miami’s oldest fast-food restaurants, as well as the new ones such as McDonald’s, Burger King just to mention but a few. The Supremes were an American pop-soul vocal group which consisted of the most successful performers of the 1960s and the flagship act of Motown Records. The group had a great musical crowd following which gave them a great name across America. The lead singer, Diana Ross, gave the group its popularity that stuck since time immemorial. At present, Mary Wilson (one of the group’s members) still performs in Miami and you can catch her at various events across the city. It will give you a historical taste of great music and vocals.
