I had 2 unforgettable Days with Vichhay. He is a very nice and friendly guide and a good driver who doesn't speed or risk anything. He knows the history of the places very well and speaks english very good. He also shares useful and interesting informstion in general. Echoing the many others who recommend the knowledgeable and kind Vichhay Reiseführer Fahrer of Angkor Hunter Tour for expert tours of the temples of Angkor near Siem Reap. My dad is an architecture and history enthusiast, and I wanted to make sure our tour of Angkor focused on learning detailed history of the temples and the cultural and religious significance of the intricate reliefs. Vichayy exceeded my expectations - he is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about Angkor and clearly has researched above and beyond the tour guide license requirement! In addition, Vichayy is a truly gifted photographer and provided us with beautiful photos of our 3-day tour. He also took us to local food stops in Angkor rather than the main tourist restaurants, which we really appreciated!

We are finally back from a two-week holiday in Thailand and Cambodia and we can agree without hesitation that our days with Vichhay were the absolute best of the entire vacation. We did a two-day tour with him and he did a great job of taking us to several temples around the area and providing detailed histories of each structure, the eras of their construction, and the symbolism of these rich sites. We had a very nice 1 day tour with Vichhay at Angkor. We got picked up at 5 am for the sunrise, he showed us the best spots to stand and wait for the sun. Once the sun was out he instantly took some great pictures of us with beautiful sunlight. Overall he knows so many good spots to take great pictures. With his iPhone and camera the quality is very good, he also showed us the best posed and told us what to do in the pictures . After that we visited Angkor Wat, Bayon, Baphoun and Ta Prohm while trying to avoid the massive tourist crowds. He has an astonishing knowledge of the history and culture and explained so much to us. His English is very good and easy to follow, he even speaks a bit of German.

Vichhay's knowledge of temple history is beyond. Many times it is difficult to find an excellent driver/guide combination but he is both. safe driver, comfortable vehicle and an encyclopedic knowledge of what you're seeing at not only Angkor Wat, but the numerous other temples in the area. His price was very competitive and I'm so happy to have met him. I highly recommend this professional, fluent and considerate guide for Siem Reap. his English is excellent, his ability to communicate the complex history and symbolism is excellent as well. We had such an awesome day with Vichhay. Travelling with 2 young children is not always easy but Vichhay was able to adjust the tour for our needs making it a truly memorable time. We all learnt so much thanks to his extensive knowledge and Vichhay was kind enough to capture some amazing photos, memories that will last a lifetime.
