Canal du Midi is a 240-kilometer (150-mile) long waterway which stretches from Toulouse to Sète and was constructed in the 17th century. It is one of its kind in the world and has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Adge lies towards the end of the Canal du Midi just before ending at Sete.
