According to the World Animal Foundation, there are a total of around 1.5 billion vegetarians in the world today. The growing numbers can be attributed to many factors such as religion, healthy diet or most importantly to preserve the environment. In fact, the latter is one of the most common reasons why lots of people today are turning vegan or vegetarian. Many different countries and cities have started adapting this lifestyle, and one of which is Paris, France’s capital. Paris is one of the places populated with a good number of practising vegans and vegetarians. That is why it’s no surprise that it is filled with various vegetarian restaurants.
