Tangkuban Parahu volcano is a super cool spot in West Java! It's called Tangkuban Parahu because it looks like a huge boat flipped over. There are two craters, Kawah Ratu and Kawah Upas, plus others like Kawah Baru and Crater Domas, that you can check out. The volcano is 2,084 meters high, and you'll see some awesome views from up there.

It is open every day from 08:00 to 17:00, so come on over and have some fun exploring!

Gedung Sate is a public building in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. It features neoclassical design while incorporating native Indonesian elements (such as Hindu-Buddhist elements) and was designed by Dutch architect J. Gerber to be the seat of the Dutch East Indies Department of State Owned Enterprises (Departement van Gouvernmentsbedrijven, literally "Department of Government Industries"). The building was completed in 1924. Today, the building serves as the seat of the governor of West Java, and also a museum. 

Its common name, Gedung sate, is a nickname that translates literally from Indonesian to 'satay building', a reference to the shape of the building's central pinnacle, which resembles the shape of one of the Indonesian traditional dishes called satay. 

The three waterfalls here are a series of water flows starting from Curug Kaung at the top location (with a height of around 17 meters), Curug Daun in the middle, a mini waterfall with a height of only about 2 meters, and Curug Nangka at the bottom with almost the same height as Curug Kaung.

At the bottom of the waterfall, there is a water basin that can be used for bathing. In several parts of the river, there are also pools which are also commonly used by visitors for traveling. For those of you who want to try to get a unique experience of spending the night in a place with a natural atmosphere decorated with the sound of rustling water, you can use the camping ground area which is not far away from Nangka Waterfall. It's open from Monday to Sunday between 08.00 and 16.00.

The Bogor Botanical Gardens is a popular natural tourist attraction and the largest botanical garden in Indonesia. It was established during the Dutch colonial era, to be precise on May 18, 1817.

Initially, the Bogor Botanical Gardens were established as an experimental garden for plantation plants that would be introduced to the Dutch East Indies. However, in its development, the Bogor Botanical Gardens have actually become a forum for scientists in the field of botany in Indonesia to develop knowledge about plantations.

Starting from the dream of a First Lady who wanted to bring her people to explore Indonesian stories in an open park, the Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park (TMII) was born and inaugurated in April 1975 as an area for the preservation and development of national culture. The diversity of 33 provinces in Indonesia is packaged in the form of miniature archipelagos, regional platforms, traditional buildings and architecture, regional arts, recreational parks, and various kinds of rides. The 150-hectare land was transformed into a stage for art, recreation, and educational facilities for visitors of various ages. Operational Hours: Monday - Sunday from 05.00 - 20.00.

Located in the Kota Tua area, the Wayang Museum (the Puppetry Museum) is one of the museums that directly faces Fatahillah Square. Wayang itself is a traditional form of puppet theatre play originating from the Indonesian island of Java. It refers to the entire dramatic show, and sometimes, the leather puppet itself is referred to as Wayang. Performances of Wayang puppet theatre are accompanied by a gamelan orchestra in Java, and by gender wayang in Bali.

This museum exhibits a variety of puppets from various regions in Indonesia and other countries, such as Malaysia, Thailand, Suriname, China, Vietnam, France, India, and Cambodia. It has more than 6,800 puppets and several gamelan set collections. It's open from Tuesday to Sunday from 09.00 to 16.00.

The National Monument (Indonesian: Monumen Nasional, abbreviated Monas) is an obelisk in the center of Merdeka Square, Central Jakarta. It is the national monument of the Republic of Indonesia, built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian independence. Its construction began in 1961 under the direction of President Sukarno, and it was opened to the public in 1975. It is topped by a flame covered with gold foil.

The monument and the museum are open daily from 08.00 until 16.00 Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) throughout the week except for Mondays.

The Jakarta Cathedral Church is an icon that depicts religious diversity in Indonesia. This church is a cultural heritage site, and its official name is De Kerk van Onze Lieve Vrouwe ten Hemelopneming or Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Marian into Heaven. The church building was inaugurated in 1901 and boasts neo-Gothic architecture from Europe.

This church is right opposite the Jakarta Istiqlal Mosque. Because of their proximity, the two buildings have become a symbol of religious tolerance in Indonesia. It's open every day to all visitors except for Christmas and other Catholic holiday celebrations. The best time to visit is between 10am and 4pm.

The Istiqlal Mosque was designed in 1954 by Frederich Silaban, a Christian architect from North Sumatra, and it took 17 years to build it. It was built under Sukarno's administration, and the construction was supervised by the president himself.

Istiqlal Mosque is the National Mosque of Indonesia, and the word Istiqlal comes from an Arabic word, which means "Independence." The name is a reminder of Indonesia’s struggle for national Independence and this mosque was built to memorialize it.

The mosque has a large rectangular prayer hall with a 45-meter diameter dome supported by 12 round columns and has 4 levels of balconies. Its interior is mostly simple but represents the luxury of the mosque itself.

Held in Bandung from 18 to 24 April 1955, the Asian-African Conference was a significant success in unifying the viewpoints and establishing a cooperation framework among Asian and African nations to actively participate in promoting world order and peace. 

The conference produced the Ten Principles of Bandung, which were later adopted by colonized nations worldwide to aid in their struggles for independence and became foundational principles for achieving world peace and international cooperation. The impact of the Asian-African Conference is profound; the spirit of the conference has become one of the important factors shaping world history. 

The Asian-African Conference Museum, also known as the Gedung Merdeka (Freedom Building), commemorates the historic event. It's open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 09:00 am - 12:00pm and 01:00pm - 03:00pm.
