2. 2. Pikk 49 Residence (from 78 USD)

I stayed at Pikk 49 with my wife and (adult) daughter. Pikk 49 is an apartment block, not a hotel. We stayed in the STUDIO apartment and it was huge and plenty of wardrobe space to hang your clothes. It’s fully self contained with TV, fridge, washing machine, oven etc and wifi. It’s superbly located, close to the old city square, but far enough away not to be disturbed by party goers. There are no staff located at the apartments, so make sure you set a time to meet the owner to get hold of the keys! David
Tallinn’s Pikk 49 Residence is situated right at the heart of the city centre, making it a popular pick for both leisure and business travellers due to its prime location near the city’s top tourist attractions. Guests can easily access attractions such as the House of the Brotherhood of Blackheads, Slothrop’s English Language Bookshop, Long Street, and more.

The rooms in this hotel all exude a cosy vibe that is lacking in many of the other hotels in the city. And, for such a reasonable price, you’ll be treated to a homely accommodation that would definitely have you finding it difficult to leave! With free Wi-Fi, smoking areas, and more, this hotel will serve as a home away from home for any kind of traveller.

Stay in style for a cheap price

Fun fact: Did you know that many people think that Estonia is located in the Middle East and that it’s not a European country? Estonia is probably one of the most underrated tourist destinations in the whole of Europe, and that’s such a pity considering the fact the country is so beautiful and has many historic sites.

When you’re in Tallinn, Estonia, be sure not to miss out on the many interesting places and landmarks that are so rich in history. For instance, you can visit a prison, Paterai Sea Fortress Prison, that was shut down ten years ago and that initially served as military barracks in the 19th century. Or, you can visit a medieval-themed soup restaurant that serves soup for as low as 2 EUR (2.20 USD), III Draakon.

Wherever you choose to visit, you can stay in style and enjoy small touches of luxury for less in stunning Tallinn, in Estonia.
