Famed as the best amusement park in the UK and 9th in Europe, the Blackpool Pleasure Beach is one place that you must not skip during your stay in Blackpool. It was founded a long time ago in 1896 by the Thompson family and it has been operated by them ever since. The park itself is huge and there are loads of activities to do, ranging from death-defying roller coasters to heart-pumping thrill rides. If you’re brave enough, try and have a go on the Big One, one of the tallest and steepest roller coasters in Europe. There is so much to do here that it’ll be hard for you to leave this place.

2. Blackpool Tower

4. Blackpool Zoo

Opened in 1972, the zoo features over 1,500 animals in its premises ranging from exotic orangutans from Borneo to giraffes from the savannas of Africa.
