The house is furnished with pre-loved items, a homage to the owner’s goal to protecting the environment. The house can sleep eight persons, with walking tracks from the back of the house to the ocean beyond. The house may not be suitable for very young children as it is still a work-in-progress but apart from that, it is fully furnished with TV, washer, dryer, and bathrooms.

The place was comfortable but rough outside
The deck off the living room was incredibly slippery not safe
trees/shrubs require pruning both to allow access to the path up the back and the view at the front
The wooden steps feel pretty unstable to walk on

The house was clean and tidy on arrival (and departure) and very comfortable

However the price is quite high particularly considering the late check in and early check out
This property would be majorly improved with some pruning which would open up the view of the harbour and with some exterior maintenance
The outdoor area was very unkempt and overgrown

This cute home on the top of 23 steps is well worth the long upward climb. You can watch the sunrise from your bed. This house sleeps six and has a dining room that is open to an outdoor courtyard at the rear of the house. There is also an open balcony where you can embrace the warmth of the sun. The sparkling lights of the Otago Peninsula will soothe you to sleep in the evenings. There is a laundry room with washer, dryer, and a fully attached kitchen. The internet is available too. The house is close to the city center, and cleaning fees are included.

There are two bedrooms upstairs, with queen- and king-sized beds, accessible via a steep staircase. Children and less mobile people may not be able to climb up safely.
