Nothing beats a picnic on the river. This is in Abuan River in Ilagan City, Isabela. The river flows from the Northern Sierra Madre Mountains that's why the water is clean and clear, with sandy and rocky areas, making it a great picnic spot. There are also rock cliffs to climb, ideal for cliff jumping. And boating is also offered here so you tour more around the river.

We went here around late afternoon. But it's ideal to visit earlier, even from morning to afternoon as the site closes at 6PM. You can bring your own food and drinks, or just buy snacks offered on the site. It's a perfect location for family bonding and friends get-together.
