bedding was comfortable and towels large and thick
it was great to have dinner all together at the massive dining table every night and the kitchen was great for those cooking
spacious and comfy with great views, bikes to explore the surroundings and the town just a five minute drive
the property is quite large with well enough beds and hang out spaces that our larger group of 15 was very comfortable throughout

sharon & monique were very helpful & accommodating & we all had a very enjoyable weekend
sharon was very helpful and even had let us a whole collection of treats for us to enjoy upon our arrival
sharon is a friendly and accommodating host who supplies a lot of extras which makes your stay most enjoyable
we also loved how sharon and monique made up our beds before we arrived - a real treat!
facilities very well thought out - it made our 3 days very easy and comfortable

there are mountain bikes and park within the property, so its great for the kids
the house is amazing
the kids were kept busy with the bikes and abundance of wildlife
the location so close to the rail trail was great, we all enjoyed walking or cycling into town

the cottage is cosy and comfortable with a slow combustion fire
the cottage was cosy and very well equipped
the roaring fire kept the cottage warm all long weekend, making excursions out in the cold appealing

a quiet private retreat
the cottage was cosy and quaint
it was very comfortable and cozy, with a stock of games, books and videos
the views from most of the windows were outstanding, and fantastic to wake up to
both the adults and kids were able to relax and have fun
Cleanliness:
very clean, well equiped and cosy
actually blueslate cottage made us love winter and we were sad when it was time to leave
the cottage was extremely cosy, and as soon as we walked in, we found ourselves sprawled all over the couches
we loved the farm animals; donkeys, sheep, alpacas and we even saw a fox just a few metres from the cottage, (magpies chased it away)

our girls loved the animals especially the very friendly donkeys
our hosts made us feel very welcome with a bottle of wine,fruit and hearty breakfast
would love to return during the winter months
rob was a great host, was there when needed but other left us to our own devices

the property is excellent - built by the owners the workmanship is of a high quality and there are surprises like underfloor heating in the bathroom (excellent in winter)

overall, the main house is very cozy and there is an actual fireplace! our rooms were nice and cozy
we only stayed the 1 night but wish we could stay longer!! everything was amazing

very tidy, bed were very comfortable and everything you need to make a delicious dinner under the stars!
the kitchen has everything you need to make breakfast lunch and dinner and town is not too far away
i brought a temperature gauge (as we have a 5 month old baby) and the bedrooms were between 11-13 degrees at night
