A trip to Guam is in the cards for you - even in the midst of COVID-19 - thanks to the introduction of the Air V&V (vaccination and vacation) program for international travelers. This summer, the island is offering to vaccinate its tourists with the brand of their choice depending on availability, which could be Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson.
Those who are aged 12 and above may get their jabs as soon as the day after their arrival, and right in the comfort of a participating hotel.

Not only is Guam blessed with some of the best beaches you’ll see, but it is also filled with terrains and vistas that are well worth the hiking adventure. For moderate trails where you can bring your family along, check out the wildflower-filled Sella Bay Trail in Santa Rita and the dog-friendly Mount Lam Lam Trail in Agat.
If you’re up for a challenge, an intermediate trail with a great payoff is Pagat Caves in Yigo. To the advanced hikers out there, dare yourself to conquer the Sigua Falls Trail, which is said to be one of the tougher hikes on the island. 4. Beaches
It’s only fitting that we include Guam’s best beaches on this list. Tumon Beach is located in the village of Tamuning. It opens to the Philippine Sea and is one of the most well-known beaches in the area. Tamuning’s lesser-known beach, Gun Beach, started gaining traction since the establishment of a restaurant but has since remained a haven for relaxation and fun under the sun. Another must-visit beach around Tumon Bay is Matapang Beach Park.
If you want to steer clear from the crowds of Tumon Bay, head over to Yigo in the island’s northernmost tip - Ritidian Point.
5. Waterfalls
This island is truly filled with natural wonders, including a number of picturesque waterfalls. Located along Ugum River, Talafofo Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in Guam and is home to a small amusement park. A destination that requires a little bit of a hike (but is well worth it!) is Tarzan Falls in Yona. If you’re on the west side of the island, see to it that you visit Sigua Falls near Santa Rita or San Carlos Falls in Yona.
