The Auburn Arena is a venue for concerts as well as home to the basketball team, and in the spring there are first class facilities for baseball and softball.

The Hotel at Auburn University is located on South College Street. In one direction, guests can walk two blocks to the downtown area for boutique shops and a variety of restaurants, both upscale and casual.
