This unique cottage is the perfect holiday rental for families. Located in Hove, you’ll be a short 15 minute walk from Brighton city centre. And, if you’d prefer to stick a bit closer to the cottage at any point, you’re only a short walk from independent shops, cafes, and restaurants. The cottage can host up to 10 people. It has a king size bed in the master bedroom, and the second bedroom sleeps 3 adults and two children with a double bed and triple bunk beds. The living area also has a sofa bed which can accommodate two adults.
The cottage is full of historic and playful charm. It was built in 1822 as the architect Charles Busby’s drawing room. Arched ceilings were rediscovered and restored in 2001. The current owners have designed it in a contemporary and colorful way. From novelty children’s bunk beds to a novelty alcove which hides a double bed and TV, you’ll be charmed by all there is to look at.

4. Brighton Seafront Apartment (from USD 227)
First on our list is this beautiful Seafront Apartment which offers uninterrupted panoramic views of the sea. It’s one of the apartments in Embassy Court, a 1930s Grade II listed building. The apartment and its neighbors were the first purpose built penthouses in the country, and the architect focused on making the most of the sea views.
Running the length of the apartment are glass doors, giving you views of the sea from the living room, bedroom, and the terrace. The apartment is beautifully furnished, with a bespoke granite kitchen and designer bathroom with underground heating. The bedroom sleeps two people, and while the sofa folds out into a bed, the hosts suggest only two people stay in the apartment, or a couple with small children that can fit on the sofa bed.
The apartment is a short walk from the shops, restaurants, and bars that Brighton offers—though you may be tempted to stay in and enjoy the view!
